The Prosonic T FMU30 is a compact transmitter for non-contact level measurement of fluids, pastes and coarse bulk materials. The device uses the stable and proven software algorithms that are already implemented in the Prosonic M ultrasonic level sensor. This enables the sensor to be optimally adapted to the application, from the properties of the medium to the type of container, which provides additional process reliability. In addition, the software enables interference elements, such as agitators, conductors and nozzles, to be suppressed or mapped. As a cost-effective all-round instrument, the transmitter is suitable for a wide variety of applications in liquids and bulk solids. The level sensor covers a maximum measuring range of 8m in liquids and 3.5m in bulk solids. It is available with a 1½" and 2" process connection and is designed for temperatures from -20 to 60ºC. As a result, the range of applications extends from monitoring levels in sewage treatment plants and process water tanks to measuring applications for loading, storage, and buffer tanks.

The BioStar automatic system has been developed for the aseptic sampling of liquids such as WFI or AP water and pure steam in the pharmaceutical industry. With this device, samples can be taken for both pure steam and liquids with the same unit. The system consists of a multi-port sampling valve with pneumatic actuators, a sampling bottle as well as a compact control unit. The control unit is a Siemens PLC with a touch screen panel. The control system is compact and provides improved menu guidance as well as easier operation. It is optionally supplied mounted on a mobile stand ready-to-connect or in two parts for fixed installation in a plant. After starting the program, the parameterised control process runs fully automatically. In the first program step, the system is sterilised or rinsed. Afterwards, the sampling process starts automatically until the set amount of steam condensate or liquid is reached. The system switches off at the end of the program. The sample extraction process for liquids takes approx. 30s for 250ml.
